Chris has had a bit more free time during his third year and he's been really stepping up his date night game. He took me to dinner at an Italian place that my hairstylist recommended and is right down the road from us. It was delicious and very nice inside.
On another night we stayed home and made maple donuts. It was fun! Cooking together is something that we really enjoy doing. It's so nice to be able to just chat while working together to create something.
They were pretty good! Next time I will search for a different maple icing recipe, but the dough recipe was perfect.
