Dinner with friends...

We love the missionaries that are serving in our area here in Bensalem & Northeast Philly. We usually feed them dinner about twice a month and we love having them in our home. Not only do they teach us about Christ, they are great to talk to and such strong, faithful, and dedicated young men! We knew that Elder Causse (he's from France) was getting transferred to a new area, so we made sure to take a quick picture on his last night in our home. We'll miss him, but hopefully he'll be in touch with us when he goes home later this year.

We invited some friends over for dinner as well, since I was already making plenty. Jordan and Danielle Morsberger came over to join us. Jordan and Chris are in the same dental school class, and Dani is his sweet wife.

That night at the dinner table (while our kids were in the bath - so it was actually quiet!) we talked about families. When we were finished, the missionaries gave us this:

It says "Successful families are established on... Forgiveness, repentance, love, respect, prayer, family activities, hope, trust, faith, compassion, and work." It's a quote from The Family: A Proclamation to the World. And we LOVE it!!!

After the missionaries left, we visited for a little while.

The boys pestered Dani until she read them a story before bedtime. They love Jordan and Dani.

They went to bed after that and then we visited for a little while longer. It's nice to be able to have friends over every once in a while and just visit. It doesn't happen as often as I would like, but when it does I am glad it's enjoyable. We are lucky to have a few couples that we can spend time with that actually live near us.
