My friend Sarah set a goal to attend the temple and she asked me to be her escort. When a member of the LDS church goes through the temple for the first time, they bring someone with them to help show them where to go and all that. I was so flattered that she asked me and was really looking forward to it. We drove to DC in November and were joined by the sister missionaries and her husband, Nelson. It was a nice drive and a beautiful rainy day in DC.
Sarah and I have become great friends. She's such an amazing woman and I learn from her example often. I'm so grateful to have met her!
