Matthew missed the fall field trip at his school because he started school late, so he was super excited for his spring field trip! Even though it was pouring rain, we still had a great time. The only regret I have is not making my kids wear their rain boots or ponchos!
Mason Mills park has something called a "Safety Town." When you rent the park, you get access to all of their big wheels and tricycles and the kids get to ride them all around Safety Town. You can also bring your own. It was very cool!
In the rain we played frisbee and played all over the playground equipment.
Matthew took a little fall and was pretty upset about it, but other than that it was a successful rainy day picnic!
