Family Temple Trip to Washington DC

We took a family trip to the Washington DC temple in March so that Chris could do a session and we could all enjoy dinner afterwards. The kids and I went to the visitor's center while Chris was in the temple. It's such a beautiful visitor's center. The inside was re-done a year and a half ago and it's so nice with so much to see!

Even though there is a lot to see, the boys can only handle being in there for 45 minutes to an hour. We walked around outside for a bit to kill time.

The boys saw some people taking wedding pictures at this trellis, so they had to go there and get their own pictures taken.

Then they had to take turns taking pictures all by themselves. Matthew is becoming quite the photographer!

Then we went to get gas and met up with daddy when he was done. Dinner at Cafe Rio was delicious, as always. Driving to DC is a long journey (about 6 hours just driving time), but it's worth it every once in a while. We had a lovely day!
