It was rainy on our drive to Atlanta that morning. It was so beautiful, though. Chris drove us through Dawsonville, another area of his during his mission. We stopped by the church he used to go through and I had him go stand in front of it (in the rain) so I could take his picture.
We passed by the Atlanta Temple and stopped to take a quick picture. It was a lot prettier than I thought it would be.
Matthew and Aaron enjoyed running around for a couple of minutes.
We even saw some really big bumble bees! Aaron was fascinated with them.
We had lunch at Chick-fil-a and met up with Brandon Harper, a friend from Chris's mission. It was nice to visit for a little while. It's been a long time since we've seen him. In that time he's gotten married and is now a couple weeks away from being a dad!
After lunch we parked our car at the Marta station in Sandy Springs and headed into Atlanta. The boys loved the train! They had no idea how hot, stinky, and dirty it was. They just loved the fact that they were on a subway train!
