Day 9: The End is in Sight!!!

Our last day of driving wasn't all that bad, but we were all SO ready to get out of the car for good. It took us a little over 3 hours to get from Washington DC to Bensalem, PA (about 150 miles). Lots of traffic and tolls! We stopped in a little place that was like a mini food court inside a gas station. The boys got some treats and we hung out on the sidewalk for a bit.

Chris was showing Matthew where we were on the map.

I was making sure that Aaron didn't spit out all the skittles he had in his mouth! That poor kid and his sweet tooth. It doesn't help that he has my genes when it comes to his teeth. He already has a small cavity. Hopefully it doesn't start to decay and require dental work.

When driving on I-95 we saw these lovely buildings...

That is where the Flyers (hockey), 76ers, Phillies and Eagles play. I hope to be able to see at least one game at each of those places! I was told the Phillies vs Dodgers series is a good one and that the 76ers do play the Lakers. But I was also told that if you don't want to be injured or beaten up, you need to go to the games supporting the Philly teams - regardless of whether or not you are Dodger or Laker fans. Guess we'll have to stop teaching Matthew to say "KOBE! KOBE! KOBE!" Hahaha!

Anyway, we got to our apartment and signed our lease. At 4pm we have about 5 guys show up from our new ward (what we call the different congregations separated geographically at my church) and got all moved in! We were so grateful to all of them for the help. And to top it off, the woman that has been helping us since BEFORE we moved in brought us dinner. It was fantastic.
