Life Lately According to my iPhone

Aaron is prone to canker sores in his mouth. We aren't sure how he gets them, but he does. He's usually a trooper and doesn't complain much, but sometimes (when they're this big) the poor little guy hurts.

The late spring gymnastics session was unusual because Matthew and Aaron had gym at different times, back to back. Aaron was so sweet to always share the iPad with some friends. He would turn on Frozen and all the girls would come flock to him and watch it with him. It was nice because most of the time these girls would cry and complain because they didn't want to be there.

The Neshaminy Mall had a MLBB mall show with lots of fun characters and booths to visit. The boys met Handy Manny!

We watched Star Wars Episode IV on Stars Wars Day. May the force 4th.

Shortly before we moved in we noticed that the house had a terrible odor. We called the landlord and had them clean the carpets again. Shortly after getting all moved in the smell returned. It was so bad! It reeked of urine all throughout the house, but the living room and our bedroom were the worst. We called the landlords and they came immediately to figure something out. The carpets were replaced in every room except the playroom.

It turns out that the people who lived here before us weren't the cleanest people. They didn't have any pets. The urine was actually human urine. You can see all the staining on the carpets that they removed. The floors were so bad that they actually had to prime the hardwood floors (twice in our bedroom) before the carpet could be laid back down.

It was crazy having to move all of our furniture after the carpet since we had just moved in, but it was worth it. It also showed us how great our landlords are. They were on top of this so quickly and got it fixed for us before all of our family came into town in May. It has been wonderful ever since.

I miss Arizona skies so much here in Philly, but every once in a while I get a glimpse of something that reminds me of home...

We painted some chalkboard walls in our kitchen. I love them!
