We went to Rockefeller Center and that was pretty fun.
When we made it to Times Square, it had started raining!
We had lunch at Lenny's and did a lot more sightseeing. Larry and Jelaire headed back in the early evening. My plan was to leave and head back early, but we all ended up staying later than we anticipated when we waited an hour to eat at Serendipity. It was pretty much the only thing Dixie really wanted to do, so we stayed because we love her a lot. It's one of those places that you want to go at least once when you visit NYC.
I got some soup and a frozen hot chocolate. Both were delicious, although I think the soup was way better.
Walking back to the train station was a hoot with Sara and all her bags!! She had a lot of fun shopping.
We were all pretty exhausted by the time we got to the station.
All in all we had a great time. There are always ups and downs when you are in a huge group of people and you're all trying to coordinate with each other, but we had a lot of fun!
