My parents came to visit us last weekend!! It was so much fun. We had a little calendar and were counting down the days until they got here. The boys were so excited the night that they were flying in. They went to bed knowing that they'd see Grandma and Grandpa when they woke up in the morning and were so happy!!
My parents flew in and got here pretty late Thursday night (9/27) and we talked for a while. They didn't get much because the kids got up so early. We went to breakfast Friday morning at Friendly's. I've seen them all over the place here, but we haven't really gone out together as a family so we had never been. It was pretty good and the prices for breakfast were great!
They serve ice cream like it's going out of style there. We didn't get any, but my parents went back one of the nights they were here and got some ice cream. They said it was good!
