I know that my blogs have all been out of order... but we are now in mid-December at our church's Christmas party. We didn't stay for too long because it started late and our boys needed to get to bed. They had a great time while we were there, though. We had the Ackerman kids sitting at our table. Aaron loves spending time with Lilly and Grace, and Matthew and Jake are best buds.
Also, a Christmas party wouldn't be complete without my reindeer ears.
This winter has been absolutely brutal. When we left the Christmas party, our entire car was encased in a layer of ice. It was really tough to get the doors to open. Chris said that when he would talk about the "ice storms" in Georgia, this is what he was talking about. Except in Georgia the ice would be so thick that you literally couldn't open your car door.
We said good-bye to another missionary. This is Sister Williams. She was the first sister missionary in our ward and she is just terrific! We will miss her.
