Well we had our first official snow day in December. Matthew and Aaron were SO happy. I took them out to play in the snow. I later regretted it, because the cold is really affecting my health right now. I'm not ready to dive into all my current health issues at the moment, but that post will be coming soon.
For now, let me just tell you how fun it is to watch these boys play in the snow. They are fearless and have such a good time together!
Most of the time we were stuck indoors and they loved watching the snow from our balcony.
They read lots of books. Matthew's favorite over the Christmas season was "'Twas the Night Before Christmas." His Grandpa Larry bought it for him before Aaron was born and each page plays a recording of Papa Larry's voice.
We made salt dough handprints for fun while we were stuck inside. They're now up on a shelf in our living room!
It was so pretty watching the snow fall in our courtyard. The snow sure does complicate things in Philadelphia and Bensalem - these cities just aren't that equipped for these kinds of storms - but it is beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. And it's made winter a lot more tolerable than just the dead brown that we are used to seeing!
