The Crayola Experience

The Crayola Experience is a super fun place about an hour from us in Easton, PA. We found tickets super cheap and had a year to use them, so we decided to go this past summer before they expired. It was so much fun! Matthew and Aaron (particularly Matthew) love to do arts and crafts, so this place was super exciting for them.

With each ticket you got 3 tokens. You could use them for either a crayon, a marker, or some model clay. So each boy got to make 2 crayons of their own crayon. They picked a color and they got to name it on the computer. Then the sticker came out and they got to put it on the crayon.

You can't really see it in the picture, but they're holding their 2 crayons.

We each got a little package of model clay and the tables had cookie cutters and other things to use to play with the model clay.

After that we went to the marker making station and the boys got to make their own markers. It was really cool to watch the machine take all the pieces, insert the ink, and put it all together for them.

They also had a lot of interactive play. You could draw something on iPads and in a projection room you would see everyone's drawings projected on a special wall.

They also had a water room where you could race crayon boats.

They had a play area, a place to make a molded crayon, spin art, melted crayon art, and all sorts of other places. I was really surprised at how much stuff we actually got to take home with us. It was great! Probably one of Matthew's favorite places.

It's in a cute downtown area of Easton, PA and there are fun things outside as well. We took a few pictures before we headed out to find some food.

We decided on a family Italian restaurant and the food was delicious! After we ate we headed home. It was a great trip!
