This past summer is remembered in my head by two words: Sesame Place. We spent so much time there! It was wonderful. We went with friends, we went alone... We went in the morning, we went in the evening, we went all day... We played in the water, we rode the rides, we saw the shows... Both boys were old enough now to ride all the water rides. Matthew was able to brave the water rides alone so that I could ride them with Aaron. It was amazing to see Matthew branch out of his comfort zone and get so independent!
This picture is so wonderful that it deserved a close-up. Look at that face!!!
In one of the new shows that we watched over the summer, Cookie Monster decided to come and sit on Chris's lap. It was hilarious!
This one is a good one as well!
One of the best things (in my opinion) about Sesame Street is their parodies of grown-up things. Inside the new show there are Broadway posters with a Sesame Street spin.
Cookie's Monster Land is a brand new land that opened up this past summer and it was great! It really evened out a lot of the wait times in the park and had a lot of fun stuff. Here we are below with the new monsters, Honker and Dinger.
I never thought we would like Sesame Place so much. It has been such a blessing! And this year we were able to get on a payment plan to make the passes more affordable.
