October is fire safety month and we sure did do a lot! The firehouse next to our house had an open house which was really fun. They had games, food, free stuff, and the boys even got to ride around the block on a firetruck!
Matthew had a firetruck and firemen come to his school and the MOMS Club got a tour of a firehouse in Bensalem. They watched a video about Elmo and then got to see a firemen put on all of his gear. They were trying to teach the kids not to be scared of the firemen when all his gear was on.
Aaron has said he wants to be a firefighter multiple times, so he really enjoyed being in the firehouse!
They firetruck didn't actually leave the firehouse, but they got to take turns climbing inside!
We had quite a few kids there!
