Shady Brook Farm pt. 1 [The Market & Wagon Ride]

A couple weekends ago we went to the Apple Fest at Shady Brook Farms. I love all the farms here with Pick Your Own fruit specials! Farmer's Markets have a whole new meaning here. Instead of EZ-Ups and Tents in a parking lot with the growers selling their own stuff, you have huge farms with actual markets - like grocery store style - selling the food. And it's delicious! The best tasting is, by far, the Amish Market in Bristol. But this one offered a free wagon ride out to their orchards where we picked apples and blackberries. It was so fun!

We walked around for a bit and took some silly pictures.

There was a really cool, really big playground for the kids to play on while we waited for our wagon!

It was gorgeous outside, but there was a question of whether or not it was going to start raining on us. I'm glad it didn't! The wagon ride was beautiful. So much green! The farm was pretty big and there were quite a few little houses on it.
