One day while I was driving home I thought it'd be fun to share with my family what our place looks like. So here is a virtual tour of what we see from the car every time we come home!
This is our view when we drive in from State Rd.
Since the streets are mostly 1-way, we have to drive all the way around the complex to get to our building. This is the management office.
This is our little 9-par golf course! It's completely free for us to play, which is fantastic because Matthew loves it. It's nothing fancy and the grass isn't very well maintained. Chris says you can't even really putt. But Matthew has a little $40 set of clubs from Target and he loves it!
To the right of the picture below is our clubhouse. There are basketball courts outside, a very small and old gym inside, and the pool is there also. The pool is huge and there is a kiddie pool as well volleyball courts and lots of chairs to sunbathe. We have only been swimming three times, though!
Past the clubhouse we continue to drive by the golf course to get to our building. Straight ahead in the photo below is our private harbour for boat owners that live in our complex. The river is literally a stone's throw away from where we live!
