Aaron's first field trip was to Solly Brothers' Farm in October. The initial date was rained out and he was so disappointed! Thankfully it was rescheduled and we were able to go. He was so excited as he waited in his classroom to leave!
He got to ride a bus for the first time to the farm. It took about 20-30 minutes to get there.
It was a gorgeous day to be at the farm. The grass was wet, though, and Aaron's pants were dragging. That's why they're rolled up in most of the pictures.
We had to wait a while for the tractor ride over to the apple orchards, but Aaron was patient for the most part. He enjoyed riding the tractor!
After the kids picked their apple, they listened to a presentation from one of the farmers about vegetables and fruits.
Aaron got to hold a gourd that was used as a shaker to make music.
We also got to see how the apples are cleaned on the farm before they get sold.
Then we took another tractor ride back and were able to pick our pumpkins. Aaron had so much fun!
