The Hall of Fame Suite with the Bresslers

The dentists that took Chris to Haiti run a very successful pediatric office in multiple locations in the Philadelphia area. It's a father, two sons, and a daughter (and possibly a daughter-in-law). The father recently passed away (shortly after they returned home from Haiti) and it was a really sad and hard thing for Temple University's dental school. Doc Bressler was such a support to the school and a big presence in that community. Chris and some others from the Haiti Club were able to attend the funeral and show their support.

One random day in May, one of the Bressler sons sent an e-mail to the Haiti Club members to let them know they had some extra seats in their suite at the Phillies game that day. Chris replied and said we'd love to go if we could bring our kids. He ended up being the only one to respond and we were able to go!

We had to wait a bit at the will call office for Rachel Bressler to get there with our tickets, but it was totally unreal once we got to our suite!

There were maybe 20 seats in the suite and it was totally covered, although it was outside. We weren't super close to the field, but it was an incredible view! Matthew and Aaron were so excited.

The suite had unlimited access to food and soda. It was an all you can eat snack fest most of the night. There were appetizers, salad, and different types of entrees.

Matthew and Aaron were in heaven! We also all got a grey Phillies hat that night. Apparently everyone who went to that particular game got a special hat as part of their ticket!

We watched the game and had a fun time with the boys.

I took the boys for a walk a couple of times. There was so much to see in the hallways of the "Hall of Fame" suites! We had our own bathrooms and concessions, which was nice.

We walked around for a bit outside just to stretch our legs and I saw this beautiful sunset...

Seeing a Phillies game in such a nice suite was such an unsuspected and crazy experience. We had so much fun and the majority of the time I just kept thinking, "Are we seriously here right now?!" It was that nice.

The Bresslers are such a warm and welcoming family. I'm so grateful that I was able to go and get to know them better.
