The night before Easter Chris took the boys downstairs to play some baseball. It was so fun watching them from the porch! I was making dinner, so I couldn't join them.
When they came inside we dyed our eggs!
Easter morning came and Aaron was so excited to go and find all of his eggs that he dyed! At our house, the Easter Bunny hides the eggs that we dye so that we can do an egg hunt inside. The plastic eggs are just for fun.
The Easter baskets are the baskets that Chris's dad and step-mom sent us a few years back. They have served us well! We filled them with a few goodies. My parents sent some stuff and Larry and Jelaire (Chris's parents) sent a ton of stuff too! Matthew and Aaron were spoiled and so excited about it.
We talked a lot about Easter and the resurrection. It was truly a great day.
