Chris found some great deals on 76ers tickets, so we were able to go on a date to a 76ers game! We met up with our wonderful friend Amanda from Flagstaff. We miss her! I can't believe we'd both been here for 7 months and this was the first time we saw her. And we haven't seen her since! We need to get better at that. But I digress.
The game was fun, but the 76ers are terrible. It's hard to stay interested in a game when the team kind of sucks!
There were some pretty cool parts, though... Like these parachutes! Can you see it in the picture? They fell from the sky and had cool things attached to them.
I spent $6.50 on a soda, pictured below, only to have the cup break on me. Twice. The first time a nice lady replaced it. The second time the game was over, so we just thew it out. Talk about bad luck!
Chris was able to take Matthew to a 76ers game as well. He was SO excited!!!!!! Chris is such a great dad to our boys. He loves taking them to do fun stuff and for Matthew, it's the highlight of his days, weeks, and months.
They had a good time at the game. Something that's funny was that a family sort of near/in front of them had a kid with a poopy diaper. Instead of taking the kid to the bathroom, they just changed it right there. Matthew had a hard time because it smelled so bad. I couldn't believe it when he told me!
There was a unicycler during the halftime show. Pretty cool!
Another cool thing that happened was some teenage boys gave Matthew a shirt! The shirt cannon goes off during the games, but you have to be seated in a good area to catch one. Matthew wanted a shirt so bad.
It's a little big, but he didn't care.
